Hey There

My name is Maggie Dougherty and I have been baking since I was a child by the guidance of my grandmother and father. After my grandmother passed away, it was my job to keep baking the delicious crescent rolls and eastern European baked goods she taught me how to make in her kitchen in Ohio. Of course, this then expanded to breads, cinnamon rolls, cookies, cakes...you name it! When I moved to Colorado three years ago, it was my mission to learn and to challenge myself to learn how to make new things with the added element of elevation. Each bread, roll, bagel or cookie is a labor of love from my kitchen to your hands. And now, I get to share them with more of the world. I hope you enjoy and tell your friends to stop by!

Quick Facts:

- Originally from the Philly area. Born in Upstate New York. I'm as East Coast as they come. 

- HUGE sports fan. Allegiances to (in no particular order because that would be like picking my favorite child): Ohio State, Phillies,

   Eagles, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado State

- Big Disney World fan, used to work there, my parent's now live near its doorstep!

- Cooking and baking are things I have always LOVED to do. Ask my husband...he's pretty happy.

- I'm a graphic designer by trade. This means I have been obsessing over this website design for FAR too long.

- We have 2 cats, Dinah and Freddy. Dinah is the queen of our castle. Freddy is the court jester. 

- Queso is one of my most favorite things.

- My immediate family is huge. 2 parents, 3 siblings, 2 brothers-in-law, 7 nieces and nephews and a partridge in a pear tree.
